Children are really sensitive and we need to go easy on them. If there’s a problem, a confusion or even if a child is in dilemma, the only one he/she can turn up to is parents. You have to be their confidant. Similarly, there are many problems that parents face, this doesn’t mean you’d stop paying attention to your children. You can do these simple things even while you’re busy to keep your child happy!
1. Reminding how much you love them
Constantly reminding them how much you love them will be a good thing.
2. Asking casual questions now and then
Ask them normal questions like “How was school today?” or “Do you want to go out to eat?” This will make them happy and they’ll engage more often.
3. Keep a track of their studies
Just ask now and then if they’ve completed their homework or read for the test. If not, when you have time, solve their problems and help them with their homework.
4. Support them
Support them no matter what. Only you’ll tell them what’s right and what’s wrong for them.
5. Don’t lose your temper
Leave your official worries in the office. Don’t yell at them because of something they’re not responsible for. Ask them for some time and they’ll understand.
