1. BDSM stands for bondage-discipline, dominant-submissive, sadism-masochism. People could be interested in one or all of these combinations, depending on their interests and their adventure spirit.

3. Forceful sex is still NOT BDSM. It requires both partner’s consent.
4. BDSM isn’t always about sex. While some enjoy playing with bodies and being sensual, others just let it lead on – it’s upto you and your partner to decide that!
5. It’s not necessarily all about handcuffs and blindfolds, BDSM is way beyond that. You could chose for it to be painless and just sensual. The idea is for one person to agree to do everything the other says (within the first person’s limits, ofcourse) and there you go!
6. BDSM consists of two categories of people – tops and bottoms. Tops are the dominant-sadist ones whereas the bottoms are submissive-masochists. This is decided between the two partners themselves and the bottoms give into all of the tops’ desires.
